We attended the "Identification" course conducted virtually by GS1 Argentina.
The objective of the course was to learn about the benefits and advantages of product coding, as well as to understand and know the different ways of coding at different packaging levels and eliminate common errors in costs and times. Led by Julián Espinoza, Identification Sector Analyst at GS1 Argentina, topics such as differences between coding and symbolization, GTIN (Global Trade Item Number), GTIN-8 structure, general coding rules, GTIN-14 structure, the logistics label, GLN (GS1 Global Location Number), GS1-128 symbol, and coding with GS1-128, among others, were addressed.
